REQUIREMENTS AND TRAINING
- Must be 18 years old
- Fill out application and submit to our statement of faith and principle, guidelines and interview
- References and background check if peer counselor, mentor, etc.
- Training through Care Net’s “Serving with Care and Integrity” manual for those who are interested in peer counseling and mentoring
- Committed Christian who believes they are called to the cause and mission of the sanctify of life
- Committed to being a consistent, responsible, faithful volunteer

A committed Christian woman who is interested in training to fulfill this position. Peer counselors listen to clients without passing judgment and offer a full range of parenting options to help clients make an informed decision.
Mentors are the support system to our clients. She helps in creating a balanced life focusing on relationships, life skills, fitness and health, emotional health, education and career, setting goals and spiritual growth. Commitment to meet at least once a month.
You are instrumental in connecting your church with Life Choices and events pertaining to life. Opportunities to organize your church to pray for and support the center through material needs and/or financially. Help spread the word about Life Choices to your church community.
BABY STORE ORGANIZER
Our parenting classes called “Earn While You Learn” offers baby bucks for parents to purchase items for their baby and maternity clothes. We need volunteers to sort and organize seasonal clothes, clean items donated, keep baby store stocked. May also assist clients in purchasing items in store.
SEXUAL RISK AVOIDANCE (NEW)
If you have a heart to inspire teens to make healthy relationship choices, you can be trained in sexual risk avoidance (abstinence) training techniques or presentations. Youth groups, public and private schools, social clubs, health classes, college organizations etc.
EVENT PLANNERS, FUNDRAISERS, PUBLIC RELATIONS, OFFICE SUPPORT, HOUSECLEANING

Perhaps the most powerful way we can affect the lives of the unborn and their parents who are making pregnancy decisions, is to pray for them.
Pray for the staff and board of directors of Life Choices to be hearing the Holy Spirit daily as to the Lord’s plans, ways, and ideas in reaching out to our community and sharing the good news of the gospel through our outreach to families in need.
Pray for God’s provision through partnering individuals, churches, businesses, organizations, grants, etc. with consistent monthly giving and/or donations throughout the year – that they would catch the vision!
Pray for the faithful volunteers who give of their time and talents serving in His kingdom through Life Choices.
Pray for the resources, opportunities, protection, favor in our community, mission, strength and unity for the outreach ministry of Life Choices! All For His Glory!
